In the morning of Oct 10, 2017, Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh and monks from Hoang Phap Sangha visited Dai Dang Zen Monastery in Bonsall, California.

The monastery, locating on a large hill, has been expanding to meet the needs of Buddhism practice and education. This monastery has specialized in meditating and educating clergy people as well as delivering meditation course to Vietnamese and international practitioners coming from around the world.

In the afternoon, with the guidance from Buddhists, the Senior Venerable and his delegation visited Natural History Museum, Los Angeles County, California, to see exhibition of kinds of dinosaur skeletons and other extinct species discovered by archaeologists. Objects have been harmoniously and attractively displayed giving visitors interesting impression returning to prehistoric time going through the exhibition. Besides, the museum also has a collection of gems from around the world.
