Shakyamuni Buddha statue putting Ceremony at Dong Cao pagoda in Thanh Hoa

Junior Thich Tam Hung and Buddhists at Dong Cao Pagoda in Thanh Hoa respectfully held the rite placing the Shakyamuni Buddha statue on Feb. 18th, 2024.

Some devout Buddhists have made offerings to the statue.

The ceremony was witnessed by Junior Thich Tam Hung - Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda; Junior Thich Tam Trong, Abbot of Nhat Phap Pagoda (Dong Nai) and a large number of Buddhists from everywhere attended.

The monks praised Buddhists for their willingness to contribute labour and material. Especially, Buddhist Tran Thi Hong - Dharma name Tue Lien Hong is a student but knows how to accumulate money to offer the statue, creating good conditions for people to worship the Buddha statue and learn His virtue.

At the same time, the Sangha also conveyed that everyone try to maintain faith in the Three Jewels, practice Buddha's teachings, and accompany the monks to spread Buddhism to everywhere.

After the ritual, the attendees released creatures to spread love to all beings.
