Vows of Pure Land Practitioner

To be as bright as the wisdom light

To have a life of ease and peace

To mean no harm to everyone

To have gentle and soothing speech

To avoid causing misery onto others

To preserve precepts all the time

To be patient and tolerant

To be free from desire of lust, fame or wealth

To cease the bad karmas I have made in kalpas

To spread compassion to all places

And to be keen on the way getting to the Pure Land.
