Visiting Grace Center and Goodbye Korea

In the morning of May 16th , 2016 (April 10th lunar calendar ), Venerable Thich Chan Tinh together with Pagoda Duoc Su’s vice abbot and Buddhists visited the Grace Center, a rest-home in Incheon City.

Besides gifts for the elderly here, visiting Buddhists also performed play, which brought laughter, relax and erased pessimistic feelings from the people here.

 Somewhere, in their mindless looks, lighted up joys when keeping in touch with visitors. Nevertheless, for them now, day by day, time might just mean existing until due date, since vigor had gone together with their youths years ago. Hence this visit has been an extremely meaningful activity bringing joys, more or less, to the elderly here at the centre. It was a most simple and pure way representing visitors’ warm hearts.

 

 These images impressed here might be the most meaningful ones from Korean Buddhists to the group during its trip to beautiful South Korea.

In the morning of May 17th, 2016, the delegation said goodbye to Vietnamese Buddhists in Incheon to return to Vietnam in preparation for 2560th Vesak, the annual biggest event for Buddhists.
