In the morning of Jul 24, 2017, during the preaching trip in Taiwan, Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh and his delegation visited Chung Tai Chan Monastery in Puli Town, Nantou, Taichung City, Taiwan.

Venerable Master Wei Chueh is the founder of Chung Tai Chan Monastery which has been constructed for 9 years (1992 – Sep. 2001). Its current abbot is Ven. Master Jian Deng.

This is the second largest and famous pagoda in Taiwan, after Fo Guang Shan Monastery. The main building of Chung Tai Chan is 150m high with 37 floors that have been solemnly designed and decorated for worship. The construction of Chung Tai Chan Monastery is the architectural combination of east and west style. Its building materials are mainly made of stone creating a solid complex. In addition, the area is quite wide with large space, green trees, beautiful landscape making it the attractive spot for the worship and visit of Buddhists and visitors.
