Visiting and gift giving to Patients in Thong Nhat Hospital

Instructed by Sen. Ven. Thich Chan Tinh, the abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda, on this Buddha’s Birthday occasion (2558 – 2014), in the afternoon of Apr 15th, 2014, Monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda, under the instructions of Thich Tam Thuan monk – chief of the group – visited and gave gifts to patients at Thong Nhat hospital of Ho Chi Minh City.

With the warmly hearted help of the managers of Thong Nhat\r\nhospital, Hoang Phap monks directly gave 19 gifts to patients of the Internal\r\nKidney Department. The 76 gifts granted to other patients at the Hall of the\r\nhospital. Totally, each has the value of 200.000 VND and others 100.000 VND in\r\neach envelop, and 4 package of milk. In summary, Hoang Phap offered 95 gifts to\r\n95 patients.

The gifts are limited but they were the heart of monks and\r\nBuddhists, from which they want to share the feeling of the poor who were in\r\nthe difficult situation curing the diseases. The total amount of this first\r\ncharity is around 19 million VND.

At last, on be haft of the delegation, Thich Tam Thuan\r\nexpressed thanks to the managers of the Hospital for their support.
