Visiting and donating gift to patients from Hoc Mon and Cu Chi Hospitals

In May 05th (Horse Year 07th April), the Monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda visited poor patients at two hospitals of Hoc Mon and Cu Chi Hospitals. This is final time in Vesak charity program in 2014.

At Hoc Mon hospital, 200 gifts (equivalent to 150.000 VND /each) worth of 30\r\nmillion dong and strings of beads, audio equipments of Buddha reciting were\r\ndonated to poor patients of departments such as internal A-B, surgeryA-B,\r\npediatrics, recovery, ect. They were also offered 44 Dharma gifts including DVD\r\nof “Sunflowers 1”, “Sunflowers 4”, “Ullambana in 2013” and brief story of\r\n“Sakyamuni Buddha” to department leaders. More 30 stories about Sakyamuni\r\nBuddha were sent to intern students.

At 14:00 p.m in Cu Chi hospital, with whole-hearted support\r\nof Ms Thuy of traditional medicine department and nurse of kidney, internal\r\ncardiology - endocrine, general internal, ICU,ect. Hoang Phap pagoda donated\r\n200 gifts (150.000VND/each) valued 30 million dong to 200 poor and serious patients , 130\r\naudio equipments of Buddha reciting and strings of beads. 120 Dharma gifts were\r\nsent to leader and staff of departments comprising DVDs of “Sunflowers 1”,\r\n“Sunflowers 4”, “Ullambana in 2013” and brief story of “Sakyamuni.

In summary of charity program “Love together” to welcome\r\nVesak 2558, Hoang Phap pagoda visited nine hospitals and Nhi Xuan\r\nrehabilitation center. Its total with 2988 gifts valued 312.950.000 VND.

This fund was supported by Junior Venerable Thich Tam Minh\r\nand Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda in Australia, Buddhist Nhu Lu and all\r\ndomestic and oversea Buddhists.
