Visit Lien Binh and Tinh Truong Buddhists' Funeral

In the morning of Jan. 19th, 2022, Junior Thich Tam Hue and the monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda have come to Dong Thap city to pay respects to the funeral of Mr Nguyen Van Cao’s mother, who is volunteering at Hoang Phap Pagoda.

Mrs Truong Thi Sau  (dharma name Lien Binh)  was born 1956, Mr Nguyen Van Cao’s mother  and passed away on Jan. 20th, 2021, aged 67 years old.

The Monks, Buddhists and family respectfully chanted the sutras, recited the Buddha's name, and vowed to transfer this merit to her spirit to be born early in the peaceful realm.

At the rite, Junior Thich Tam Hue praised the family's gratitude and repayment and then advised during 49 days after her death, the family should create many good deeds, eat vegetarian meals, recite Buddha's name, release creatures, charity etc,... to transfer these merits to her soul. Moreover, all family members should unite, love, and help together.

Family's representative, Mr Nguyen Van Cao paid his gratitude to his master who permitted the visiting of monks, chanting and seeing off relatives to the resting place.

In the afternoon, the group went to the family of Mr Ben and Mr Tam, who are currently working as volunteers at Hoang Phap Pagoda to pay respects to the funeral and chant sutras to pray for their father's rebirth.  Mr Nguyen Phi Truong, dharma name Tinh Truong, a native place of Vinh Long, passed away on Jan. 8th, 2022 (Dec. 6th , LC), aged 70 years old.

In the evening, the group went to Minh Chat ashram, Can Tho to chant prayers for peace and rebirth at the end of the year.
