This year, besides Wanjeongsa temple’s sangha, there were the participation of pagodas from Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Thailand in the Vesak ceremony.

Vesak ceremony started with Buddha relics and statues offering ritual as gifts from visiting temples and followed with the speech from each group. Via the speech, Senior Ven. Thích Chân Tính sent his sincere thanks to Wanjeongsa Temple in particular, and to the whole South Korean Buddhists for their kind supports and invitation to this Vesak ceremony.

In the evening, the group returned to Medicine Buddha pagoda  in Incheon to attend the lantern parade.

In Buddhists’ joys, people eagerly hold lanterns, followed the processing with faith, sincerity and right mindfulness in Buddhism music.
