Two Buddhist Affairs a Day.

Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh visited and joined the ceremony of praying to restore the Three Precious Ones – Hoa Phuc Pagoda – Hoa Phuc hamlet – Hoa Trach Ward – Quoc Oai District – Ha Noi – on Saturday October 11th 2014 (On September 18th Horse year).

\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Hoa Phuc Pagoda is located in the suburb of western Ha Noi,\r\nwhich is   a village pagoda in uncompleted infrastructure. The\r\nrebuilding of the pagoda was done after Ven. Thich Tam Hoa under the promise of\r\nSenior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh. Every month, he often holds retreat courses for\r\nthe Buddhists. Above all others are the Summer retreat courses, which offer\r\nyoung people joining. In the spirit of beneficial propagation, he would like to\r\nrestore the pagoda more spaciously to become a practice place for believers in\r\nBuddha. Therefore, many people were interested in this ceremony.

 At 8 am, among the powerful Pragna bell and drum\r\nsound, the Buddhists solemnly held their hands together to welcome Monks and\r\nNuns visiting the hall to join the ceremony.  

\r\n\r\n

Opening was the messages from the praying Buddha of Hoang\r\nPhuc pagoda. With the purpose of practice to enliven the appraisal of Buddha’s\r\ndharma, they expressed their thinking and expectation of the Senior Ven. ’s\r\noffering precious teachings as the luggage on the way to enlightenment.

Finally, The ritual of Incense Praising the Buddhas was\r\nprayed for the perfect restoration of the Buddha Hall soon.

In the evening, accepting the invitation of Ven. Thich Tam\r\nHoan, Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh visited Bodhi-mandalapraying place of Hoe\r\nNhai – Hang Than – Ba Dinh – Ha Noi to do lecture for Buddhists on the day.

\r\n\r\n

The praying mandala is said to be set up and last for a long\r\ntime. Therefore, the Sen. Ven. was very happy to share his own convince the\r\nBuddhists. In the lecture, he explained their mistaken understanding; for\r\nexample, many people thought that just doing to Pagoda, doing good things,\r\nwhich have already cultivated! Hey do not try them more, changing them day by\r\nday which do not complete the word “practice” because it means “changing well”.

 Buddhists was so happy after over an hour listening to\r\nthe Senior Ven. In the end, the 5th DVD of “The Sunflower” was granted to\r\nthem.
