Tieu Dao Pagoda offering to Rain-Retreat schools in Quang Ninh

Rain-retreat schools of the Sangha are the practice of monks and nuns during three months of summer. This is a very important tradition in Buddhism. In these three months, monks and nuns gathered at a designated temple to study and practice diligently, building up the spirit of six harmony. Monks and nuns who uphold pure precepts of sacred rain retreat remind Three-Jewel guardians of their external responsibility to support Buddhadharma. That is the responsibility towards the Dharma, admiration for the virtues of Sangha, who diligently cultivated in three-month rain retreat, the desire to sow good conditions for Buddhists to Three Jewels so that it accumulates a little merit for their own practice.

In that wish, on July 14, 2022 Junior Thich Tam Tinh, Member of the Director Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Quang Ninh province, Abbot of Tieu Dao Pagoda, Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh province, and Buddhists organized a trip of offering to rain retreat schools in Quang Ninh province.

The first destination is Trinh pagoda of rain retreat school, Uong Bi City, the headquarters of the Director Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Ninh province. The second site is the rain retreat school of Quynh Lam Pagoda, Dong Trieu town. The last one is the rain retreat school of Yen Tu Monastery, Uong Bi City. Junior Thich Tam Tinh offered his words to make offering to Most and Senior who are leaders of the Schools in Quang Ninh province.

To these schools, Most, Senior, and representatives of the schools' leaders praised the merit of Junior Ven Thich Tam Tinh who took precious time guiding Buddhists offering to the retreats which encouraged the advancement practitioners there.
