Three Types of Sons.

This topic was told by the Buddha. It was also be told by the Arhat and I heard that: To all Bhiksu, there are three types of sons that were born in life. What are those three types? It"s "optimal birth", "dependent birth " and "paralytic birth ".

To all Bhiksu, what is called "optimal birth"? To\r\nthis type of son, his parents do not follow The Buddha, the Sermon and The\r\nMonks. They do not give up killing, stealing and illusions. They also do\r\nnot give up on lying and being drunk and they keep the impure precepts as their\r\nevil deeds. But their son follows the Buddha, the Sermon and the Monks. He\r\ngives up killing, stealing and illusions. He gives up lying, drinking and he\r\nkeeps his mind pure as he obeys the good laws.

To all Bhiksu, what is called "dependent birth"?\r\nTo this type of son, his parents follow the Buddha, the Sermon and the Monks.\r\nThey give up killing, stealing and illusions. They also give up lying, drinking\r\nand they keep their mind pure as they obey the good laws. Their son also\r\nfollows the Buddha, the Sermon and the Monks. He gives up killing, stealing\r\nand illusions. He gives up on lying, drinking and he keeps his mind pure\r\nas he obeys the good laws.

To all Bhiksu, what is called "paralytic birth"?\r\nTo this type of son, his parents follow the Buddha, the Sermon and the Monks.\r\nThey give up killing, stealing and illusions. They give up lying, drinking and\r\nthey keep their mind pure as they obey the good laws. But their son, he does not\r\nfollow the Buddha, the Sermon and the Monks. He does not give up killing,\r\nstealing and illusions. He also does not give up lying and being drunk and he\r\nkeeps the impure precepts as his evil deeds.

 Nowadays, it really does not matter whether a son or a\r\ndaughter is born. Because, if our family have enough mercies, giving birth to a\r\ndaughter is as good as giving birth to a son. Sometimes we have a son but there\r\nis no evidence that he will bring happiness to the family because, as above,\r\nthere are three different types of son. If he is\r\n"paralytic birth", there will be no happiness at all.

When the children have bad behaviors, parents think\r\nabout the saying "The parents give birth to their child, but the God\r\ndonates him his behavior" to comfort themselves. That is actually not\r\ntrue. It is all about what the son had done in his previous incarnation,\r\nincluded with what the other members of the family had done in their previous\r\nincarnation. It is what bound them to each other in the present, so they would\r\nhave the chance to share with each other as one family.

Luck and blessing will come to the family which\r\nhas the son who is better than his father, the son is\r\nin "optimal birth". The happiness and peaceful will come to the\r\nfamily which has the son is as kind as his father; the son\r\nis in â€œdependent birth”. The disappointment and shame will come to\r\nthe family which has the son is worse than his father; the son\r\nis in paralytic birth.

Who wants to give birth sons which are "optimal\r\nbirth" and "dependent", they have to try their best to change\r\ntheir destiny. They need to cultivate to bring good things to their family; to\r\navoid giving birth to the son who is in "paralytic birth".\r\nThat is all essential things.
