Summer Retreat
The second day of the summer retreat at Dong Cao pagoda

After meditation time, the students of the 3rd time retreat at Dong Cao Pagoda were joyful to hear words shared by the lecturer Ven. With small stories, words and philosophies, Junior Ven. helped them have a new perspective on life, about the concept of happiness and the respect to their parents. His sharing words are sincere, simple but gentle, absorbed in their thinking, as well as harmony with the heart of all attendees. Somewhere, there were laughter, joys and tears, and moving moments.
For participants, the speech from Junior Ven. Thich Tam Dao is probably not an ordinary lecture, it is also the echo from heart of many young people to their parents.
In the afternoon of the same day, Monks organized a catechism competition among the teams, helping them understanding better the Buddha’s life, as well as tightening solidarity between the groups' members.
At night, they chanted the Ullambana Of Gratitude To Parents.
