I often listen to dharma lectures in the ashrams or disks at\r\nhome, There was a time I heard the saying "Eight winds blows\r\nmotionlessly", but this time I did not notice much. Until now I read a\r\nbook that I met this sentence again. This time I really wondered. So what is\r\neight winds and why do people say "Eight winds blows motionlessly"?\r\nI look forward to your understandable answer.

Sentence 2: Dear my master!
\r\n\r\n
I am a student who took refuge in the Three Jewels for a\r\nlong time. I study sutras and dharma books. I have a question and hope you to\r\ngive me an explanation. Aspiration and expectation are the motivations driving\r\na sustainable society. Thus does the theory of "less aspiration;\r\n"knowing enough" conflict with the desire and the development of society\r\nor not?

Sentence 3: Dear my master!
\r\n\r\n
I have been practicing the sect of Buddha reciting for long\r\ntime. I also devote to social charity. It can be said that since I knew\r\nBuddhism, I have had the joy of life. But this joy did not last long. Recently\r\nmy family constantly has incidents: my husband is always drunk, my children\r\nfall into the path of addiction, football betting. I am extremely confused with\r\nthe mistakes happening in my practice, because the Ven. said that reciting a\r\nversion of Buddha, blessing appears; bowing to pray for the Buddha, much crime\r\nis eliminated. I have prostrated the Buddha but it also happened to us.

It is said that I have suffered from my karma in place of my\r\nprevious ones. So is that saying true or not? Looking forward to you and your\r\nadvice in this situation.
