Hoang Phap Pagoda in Cambodia is one of many branches of\r\nHoang Phap Pagoda in Vietnam. However, its material facilities are in short and\r\nunder the construction, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Truc acted out Sen. Ven.’s vow\r\nfor propagation to hold many charity trips and cultivating courses so that\r\nVietnamese living in Cambodia can approach in Dharma of the Buddha and practice\r\nHis teachings.

\r\n\r\n

After having bread breakfast, they had the opportunity\r\nto listen to a Dharma named “What is the true happiness?” from Junior Ven.\r\nThich Tam Trong. His preach was explained, “Are the power, reputation, status,\r\nor properties the root of happiness? If they were, why would people be upset\r\nwhen they lost those?”

\r\n\r\n

That proves neither position nor reputation is the\r\nroot of happiness. Those are the root of grief, and suffer from impermanence.\r\nThose things have temporary and unsustainable values, which makes people upset\r\nwhen they want to hold all.

\r\n\r\n

Thus, a Buddhist should themselves feel happy when\r\nbeing humankind, an intact human, a Buddha’s Dharma learner and practice His\r\nteachings. We should esteem, protect, and raise our happiness in order to have\r\na comfortable and peaceful life at the present and in the future.

\r\n\r\n

After his Dharma talk ended, Monks instructed the\r\nBuddhists to walk reciting the Buddha’ names.

\r\n\r\n

At the last of the retreat, each Buddhist was offered a\r\ndharma gift. They always smiled for feeling their own happiness after a\r\nmeaningful and joyful retreat.
