The last day of Summer Retreat at Tay Khanh Pagoda

The last day of the Summer Retreat at Tay Khanh Pagoda was on July 26th, 2020 (June 06th, Year of Mouse).

The participants listened to the Dharma Talk in the morning preached by Junior Ven. Thich Tam Sy with the theme “Making living's way in Society”. The Monk gave the necessary advice for young learners as important preparation for life. What they need in the long run ahead is the endless knowledge and effort. Wisdom and love will help them know what to do and what to avoid. After the Dharma talk, groups joined the catechism contest in a spirit of excitement and joy.

In the afternoon, all attendees attended the closing ceremony. Junior Ven. Thich Tam Kinh, as well as the Organizer s’ Monks made considerate reminders before they leave. In the emotional moments, the learners showed their deep gratitude to the Monks in the Organizing Board, the Buddhists who helped the retreat, the volunteers and Donors who spend a lot of money, time and effort to care for the young and help the retreat succeed.

Ending the ceremony, the Monks gave participants dharma gifts and took souvenir photos.
