The Great Ullambana Ceremony of Class nurture wisdom

On the pious filial Season, the Director board of Nurturing Wisdom Class organized the Ullambana ceremony for children, teenagers, parents and Buddhists to attend on the evening of August 13th, 2022.
This ceremony is the major Buddhist holiday to remember and repay the gratitude of birth and upbringing of parents, ancestors.
On time for the ceremony, the children solemnly welcomed monks to the stage at the Dharma Wheel Building.
The ceremony was witnessed by Junior Thich Tam Truong, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Venerable Sangha, children in Nurturing wisdom class, parents and Buddhists.
At the beginning was a minute of deep remembrance of the Buddhas, teachers, parents, country, compatriots, and sentient beings. Next, Junior Thich Tam Thach, Abbot of Quang Phap Pagoda, Tay Ninh read the meaning of Ullambana to better understand this meaningful day.
Buddhist Duong Ngoc read a letter from a practitioner to his distant mother. In the emotion of the deep love of parents, the people worshiped to show their gratitude to the parents.
Next, the Nurturing Wisdom class offered alms-giving to venerables. After that, the children, Buddhists received roses and pinned them on their chests. Each color of the flower represents the sacred feelings of the heart. This occasion, children showed their hearts to the parents by offering water, bread and wiping their parents’ faces so that they could feel the sacrifices and hardships on the parents' thin, wrinkled faces.
Junior Thich Tam Truong lectured on the ritual’s beauty to understand the morality of human beings. This is a good condition to sow in children's hearts the sacred values of parental love before the challenging life to them become more mature. He told the young learners how to be filial to their parents and cherish them while they were still living. At the same time, he also reminded parents about raising their children so that they grow up in love and develop comprehensively.
