The Great Ullambana Ceremony at Van Dai Phuoc Pagoda, Ha Tinh

On the afternoon of Aug. 06th, 2022 (July 9th, LC), Van Dai Phuoc Pagoda solemnly celebrated (Binh Phuoc Province) the Great Ullambana Ceremony 2022, Buddhist Calendar 2566.

The great ceremony was demonstrated by Junior Thich Tanh Dai, Deputy of Buddhist Director Board of Nghi Xuan District, Abbot of Man Nguyet Pagoda, monks of Nghi Xuan district, and monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda.

Following the vows of Bodhisattva Maudgalyayana, Van Dai Phuoc Pagoda offered fresh flower baskets to the Buddhas in ten directions, venerable monks and nuns.

Giving dharma words for the rite was Junior Thich Tanh Dai, he talked about the development of pagodas and Buddhism in the province. Then, there is the Ceremony of offering robe to the Sangha on the Pravaranà day.

In the program, there are also musical performances to make offerings to the Buddhas and noble venerables.
