The Great Ceremony of Buddha Birthday at Truong Phap Pagoda, Hau Giang

On May 28th, 2023 (April 10th, LC), Truong Phap Pagoda in Hau Giang province (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s custom) held the Great ceremony of Buddha's Birthday, Buddhist calendar 2567.

After stabilizing the mass invited the Sangha to the lecture hall, and held the Buddha bathing ritual.

The ceremony was witnessed, present Junior Thich tam Y, Abbot of Truong Phap pagoda; monks of Hoang Phap pagoda and over 70 men and women Buddhists.

After introducing the program and participants, Junior Thich Tam Nghien, stated an opening lecture: “The meaning of Buddha’s birthday celebration.”

On behalf of the Organizers, Junior Thich Tam Hong had dharma words to Buddhists on Buddha’s Birthday, Novice Thich Tam Toai read the ceremony’s meaning.

Last, the "Buddha Birthday Celebration,” and bathing Budhha took place in the sacred and meaningful atmosphere with attendees’ moving. 

The great ceremony ended with the joy of everyone.
