The ceremony setting up the signboard of Tam Phap pagoda – Binh Phuoc

With the approval from local government and Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Binh Phuoc province, Tam Phap pagoda is a branch belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda managed by Junior Thich Tam Duyet, recognized as a religious facility under the VBS - Binh Phuoc Province.

By support of monks at Hoang Phap Pagoda and local authorities, Junior Thich Tam Duyet solemnly held the ceremony to set up the signboard of Tam Phap pagoda on June 19th, 2022 (May 21st, LC).

Before the ceremony, Junior Thich Dao Quang, Lecturer of elementary schools of Buddhism in and out of the city, had a dharma session with the theme "Benefits of Building a temple” in about an hour.

On time to the official ceremony, the mass dignified and respectfully welcomed the venerables to demonstrate the ceremony.

The ceremony is witnessed by the monks of VBS Senior Thich Minh Loc, Head of the Buddhist Director Board of Bu Dop District; Junior Thich Buu Hoa, Head of the Buddhist Director Board (DB) of Loc Ninh District; Junior Thich Tam Hung, Representative of the Monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Abbot of Quoc Thoi Pagoda, Ben Tre; Junior Thich Giac Tam, Standing Vice President of Buddhism in Hon Quan district.

 Representatives of the local government were Mr. Nguyen Minh Phong, Vice Chairman (VC) of People's Committee (PC) of Bu Dop district; Mr. Nguyen Khac Huy, Head of the District’s Board of Civil Affairs; Dieu Huynh Son, Chief of Police of Bu Dop District; Nguyen The Duong, Head of Internal Affairs Department of Bu Dop District; Mr. Dinh Ngoc Huan, Representative of the Military Executive Board of district Bu Dop; Mr. Nguyen Cong Thu, Representative of Border Guard Station 793, Army of Bu Dop District; Mr. Pham Hung Phong, VC of Thien Hung Commune PC; Pham Quang Yen, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Thien Hung commune.

After the statement of reasons, Junior Thich Tam Duyet gave the opening speech to the mass. Next, representatives of district and province Buddhist DB, representatives of the Religious Affairs Department and authorities at all levels attended with flower baskets and congratulatory gifts.

 At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen The Duong, Deputy Interior Department of Bu Dop district announced the decision to establish Tam Phap pagoda of the Department of Home Affairs; Next, Mr. Nguyen Minh Phong, Vice Chairman of Bu Dop District People's Committee handed the decision to establish the pagoda to Junior Thich Tam Duyet.

Next, Senior Thich Minh Loc, Head of Buddhist Director Board in Bu Dop district, expressed his joy, with encouragement and advice to the Abbot. After that, on behalf of the organizers, Junior Thich Buu Hoa, Head of DB in Loc Ninh district, expressed his opinion and read his thanks.

Continuously the program was the awarding of 30 gift portions of 20,000,000 million VND to poor students with good standing at Thien Hung C Primary School, Bu Dop district.

Before the end of the ceremony, all Venerables, representatives of the government and Buddhists set up the sign and cut the ribbon to inaugurate.

The ceremony was a complete success in everyone's joy.
