The 7th Essay of Seeding Wisdom

My father abandoned my mother when I was a kid. From the childhood to now, I have never seen my father even once. Having ill-treated by husband’s family, my mother took her baby back to live with my maternal grandmother. I thought my mother was the greatest happiness. the last hope for me to try to study and overcome difficult circumstances of my family, and overcome inferiority complex of a child without a father. However, I really was an unfortunate son.

In 2012, when I was a 12th grade student, my mother\r\ndied of a diabolic cancer. Because of poor health, my grandmother also died for\r\na few months later. I had nothing when my closest relatives had, in turn,\r\npassed away. My life was in a blind alley. I cried too much when seeing my\r\npeers’s parents worry and care. I felt bored for my life and wanted to give up\r\nall. I will leave school to earn a living for my own.

At that time, my mother image’s was appearing in mine. I\r\nremembered good memories that she always besided me; especially, with her\r\nadvice before forever departure: “Try to learn, my boy. Only with studying will\r\nyou overcome the poverty.”By her encouragement and these images, I tried to\r\nlearn, and achieved the first rank at grade 12th in high school level and\r\npassed the graduation exam with a score of 54. The most important thing of my\r\ntrue dream is to pass the entrace exam from the Ho Chi Minh City university of\r\nLaw. In the past year busy in the university lecture halls, I achieved good\r\nlevel.

Besides, thanks to the trust of my class, I was elected to be\r\nthe monitor of Criminal Class 37, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Associated\r\nOrgan of the Class and Member of the Executive Committee of The University of\r\nLaw. I know my fate was not lucky when setting foot in Sai Gon, I tried to do\r\nsome part-time jobs to pay for my own learning. I won’t stop there and I will\r\ntry my best in study to achieve higher accomplishments. Then, I will do some\r\ngood things to help for myself, my family and the society.

If being granted the schoolarship, I will promise to use it\r\neconomically and efficiently for my study target. I am sincerely grateful for\r\nthe sponsors of the scholarship "Sowing the Seeds of Wisdom" because\r\nthey have facilitated for difficult students with opportunities to step on the\r\nlecture halls of the university.
