The 73rd Cultivation Course

Attending this course, Buddhists had to last seven days\r\npracticing speechless meditation on a schedule leading to cultivation schedule\r\nin the monastery. All Buddhists listened to Dharma talk, the Buddha chanting,\r\nand pure sitting for every day, as well as the main practising of the course.

In the first day of the course, the Buddhists were taught\r\nabout setting in the lecture hall, the place to eat, place to rest and sleep.\r\nThey were also taught ways basic dignity as how to hold hands for praying, to\r\nbow for greeting, to kowtow the Buddha.

At 14h, Senior Venerable Abbot Thich Chan Tinh explained in\r\ndetails some internal rules for Buddhists to apply in the Seven-Day cultivation\r\nsolemnly and purely. The Ven encouraged if the Buddhists to follow the rule and\r\nkeep practicing, it will give blessing. Such the merits and blessed virtues not\r\nonly bring benefits to people who are still living but also shelters to people\r\nwho died to depart from their body and reach the serene, pure land. Therefore,\r\neach must take advantage of cultivation during the seven days.

The cultivation ended in the delighted atmosphere, from\r\nwhich all the Buddhists attended felt excited to join in the 73rd cultivation\r\ncourse.
