The 5th Essay of Seeding Wisdom

...My parents have nurtured and put all their belief in our education, which will probably change and bring us a bright and happy future life...

I was born in a farming family in a remote poor area of\r\nunstable severe weather with low crops When I was a child, my parents always\r\ndid their best to let us pursue the study despite any difficulty. My parents\r\nhave nurtured and put all their belief in our education, which will probably\r\nchange and bring us a bright and happy future life.

\r\n\r\n

In order to accumlate knowledge to me, my parents ignore\r\nhard work in the sun to cultivate on the field. In addition, they are tied up\r\nin breeding animals and making rice paper. Since 3am, when villagers are asleep\r\nand many people still curled up in warm blanket, my mother applies herself\r\nstrenuously to blow fire, mill flour and make rice paper, catching enough time\r\nto start work on field. The three children are gradually squeezing their\r\nparents’ health. In recent years they seem to be weaker.

My mother suffered from spiralinjury. For days, she stay\r\nmotionless owing to her solid feet; lying down with her tearspour out just to\r\ngive up her work., thinking about unable to support the schoolfee.. My father\r\nsuffered from blood pressure, stomachache, sinusitis, kidney stone. My heart\r\nsinks while seeing how they are coping with their pain, doing their heavy\r\njob in the field and taking care of all the household, which causes my\r\nmotivation for endeavoring to be the best student.

Penetrating our family circumstance, we, three siblings,\r\ntried hard in study and attained a good result. It is not only a pleasure for\r\nus but also a happy bloom for our parents. What they suddenly worry is when we\r\nreceive a notice informing the university admission. Going to Sai Gon for study\r\nand mak a living is quite a confusing challenge for us and my family. With the\r\ncraving fateful dream, we encourage ourselves to overcome all the hardship to\r\nmake a big progress in our study. The past three years, thanks to the student\r\nloan we could partly cover our study fee.

\r\n\r\n

However, to make ends meet for our expenditure, I spent lots\r\nof time doing part time as a tutor at night while going to university at\r\ndaytime and review my lesson since 10:00 every night.

\r\n\r\n

I am now a senior student. I have a little time for my\r\nstudy. I put off my job to focus on studying, which causes me much of financial\r\ntrouble for the future. If I have a chance to receive scholarship from Study\r\nEncouragement Fund, I can afford English course which is equiped in the Toeic\r\ncertificate - a compulsory criterion for a graduate.

\r\n\r\n

My present purpose is having an acceptable Toeic score and\r\nstill on top of excellence students in class which is a good condition for my\r\nfuture job. Since then I will be able to share burden with my parents by\r\nsupporting my siblings’ education.

\r\n\r\n

Realizing the difficulties of making my dream come true, I\r\nhope that I can get the support from Study Encouragement Fund which will set my\r\nmind free to focus better on study.
