Tea Meditation Retreat in May - Return to Listen, Heal and Transform

On June 19th, 2022 at Hoa Phuc Pagoda, Hanoi, a Tea Meditation session was held for young people from 19 to over 30 years old.
In the morning, young meditators gathered in the lecture hall, were taught how to meditate and listen to the bell of mindfulness.
Next, the monk came and shared a Dharma talk on the topic "Emotional Management" for the listeners, including monks, young Buddhists and young people (students, working people). He pointed out how to manage emotions: "Being aware of who we are, where we are, what conditions we have, what background, qualifications, and capabilities we have, thereby setting appropriate goals with what we can. Understanding our own value in all situations is a prerequisite for managing emotions in the most correct way”.
After chanting the Happy (Mangala) Sutra in the afternoon, the practitioners showed questions in many aspects of life and practice to Junior Thich Tam Hoa. They asked two topics: the first is the stalemate in self-emotion leading to many problems in life, the second is the deadlock in relationships with relatives and associates.
Many stories have been told; many concerns have been answered. The mass listened to the bells’ mindful sound, enjoying cups of tea for peace of mind, silence, letting go of all anger and worries. The tea meditation session ended in a calm and peaceful state. In the new era, the appearance of young people has a strong temperament, but inside them are filled with bleeding wounds. The world is struggling to bear the consequences of the pandemic, and these young ones are also carrying a lot of pressure. "All of us should try, and be diligent", Venerable Thich Tam Hoa taught: Let's see difficulties as mud so that the lotus flower can bloom. Accept obstacles like a lotus accepts mud to grow. Don't be afraid. Remember to return to this peaceful spiritual home where the monks always welcome you to return."
