Second Day Preaching at Penghu

On Jul 28, 2017, after the Dharma talk at Buddhist Lien Van’s residence, Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh and his delegation visited beautiful sites at Penghu that has been ranked as one of the world"s finest islands by Lonely Planet. Its charm is not only the fresh air, but also the wonderful landscapes throughout the archipelago.

In the evening, the Senior Venerable had another Dharma talk at Buddhist residence, in which he blissfully shared the benefits for Buddhism precept followers. Those who abiding by Buddhism Five Precepts in life will have bliss and ease both in this life and the after-lives. Vice versa, sufferings and bad realms are awaiting the libertines.

Additionally, he advised Buddhists carrying out the responsibilities to family and community besides Buddhism tasks. Renunciants can wholeheartedly focus in practicing and studying Buddhism while lay members have many other bondages and duties to take care of and fulfill beside serving Triratna.

At the end of the talk, he sent Dharma gift to participants including booklets: Tu Là Tien and Doi Nguoi.
