Repentance Ceremony (on Lunar November 30th, Goat year)

On January 09 th, 2016 (Lunar November 30th, Goat year) the honourable buddhists inside and outside in Ho Chi Minh City returned to the Hoang Phap pagoda to attend the fixed monthly ceremony of repentance .
It could say that this was the rather important fixed ceremony; besides the Buddha’s great name repentance which helps purify their mind and body, listen to the rules in Buddhism for lay buddhists, and also listen to the Amitabha Buddha's doctrine which helps cultivators have the right orientation as well as recognization in the practice for themselves.
Thus, before the repentance ceremony, the masses listened to the theme "Impermanence" preached by the Junior Venerable Thich Tam Vien, the monk of the Hoang Phap pagoda.
This was an extremely realistic topic to everybody in their life and practice, especially for those who were buddhists. Knowing clearly about this subject will help each practitioner to feel tranquil in front of any environments and situations. Anyway unexpected thing could happen to us we still felt calm, unfrightened, unpessimistic, etc. to be confident in practice.
Impermanence is a basic concept of Buddhism. Impermanence was the state of not being permanent, nothing remained constant. Impermanence is the law that directs all objects from the body and mind to overcome all circumstances.
During the Dharma's preaching, with the stories was extracted from the Majhima Nikaya, Majhima Gama sutra, or practical stories; and then the doctrines in the Sutra on the Great Eight Awakenings, all of which showed to the masses known that our life was impermanent. Because life was created from each impermanent second and changed innumberously.
Understanding the impermanence would help us appreciate the life in every hour, every second, know to live in mindfulness and clear awareness, being confident to move forward the path of practice, completion our liberated idea.
After the Dharma talk, the masses entered together the time of great name repentance as usual.
