Regretfully Visiting Late Great Most Ven. Thich Tri Tinh

In the evening March 31st, 2014 ( Lunar March 01st Horse Years), Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh, the monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda came to Van Duc pagoda, Thu Duc district, Ho Chi Minh City, devotedly incensed to the Great Most Ven. Thich Tri Tinh’s enlightened soul - an eminent monk, spiritually supreme leader’s all Viet Nam Buddhist Congregation.

Great Most Ven. Tri Tinh is a dragon symbol of Vietnamese\r\nBuddhism, who devoted his life for the dharma. He spends all his willing\r\ndecision to translate Mahayana canons, which have spread widely domestic and\r\nforeign parts. His long life focused on laborious cultivation and propagation\r\nof the Pure Land sect Vietnamese Buddhism in modern time.

\r\n\r\n

Until at the end his life did, he still recited Mahayana\r\nsutra and prayed for the Buddha’s name. His simple, understandable preaches,\r\nwhen alive, was very practical, whose materials are precious assets.

\r\n\r\n

His cultivated lifespan is a good example for his disciples\r\nand his death is an endless loss to all monks, nuns and the Buddhists. Though\r\nhe “left for the Western world”, his virtuousness has shined forever bright.
