Quoc Thoi Pagoda – Ben Tre Province in Memorial of the Founder

Each year, when cold breezes start blowing and leaves stop falling, the sadness raises deeply inside the disciple’s heart, which are in memorial of the founder, who established Hoang Phap Pagoda, Late Most Venerable Ngo Chan Tu.

\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Based on the spirit of being gratitude and repaying His\r\ngrace, on December 4th, 2014 (October 13th, Horse year) at the Bodhi - mandala\r\nof Quoc Thoi pagoda, An Hoa hamlet, Long Thoi ward, Cho Lach district, Ben Tre\r\nprovince, the 26th Death Anniversary of Him was held. Senior Venerable Thich\r\nChan Tinh, along with the monks of Hoang Phap pagoda attended the anniversary,\r\nwhich was led by Abbot Bhadanta Thich Tam Hung.

As so we know, Bhadanta Thich Tam Tung is His dharma student\r\nand this is the first time the anniversary was held by Quoc Thoi pagoda. By\r\nthis we can see that the kindness and affection of the Honored Master always be\r\nremembered by the students, even when they have been busy with doing Buddhas\r\nwork.

In the beginning, the Abbot Bhadanta talked about the story\r\nof patriarch, reminded main events in His life, so the Buddhists could\r\nunderstand His life and lofty religious career. After that, everybody who\r\npresented spent a memorial moment in of His. In order to strengthen the beliefs\r\nfrom the Buddhists, The Venerable Thich Chan Tinh had some words to all\r\npresent. "Everyone has its origin (Trees has its root, water with its\r\nsource)", we need teachers’ daily instructions in our practicing progress;\r\nwe are now sitting in this place, safe and sound, in favor of the High Teachers\r\nwho taught us. We need to try our best in studying, looking above at them, in\r\norder not to disappoint Him before death.

Right before the beginning of the ceremony, Most Venerable\r\nThich Giac Huong presenting for board of directors of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha\r\nhad some words with all. He praised the spirit of the Bhadanta and the mandala.\r\nBesides, he encouraged the Buddhists in practice.

At the end of the anniversary, all the honored ones and all\r\nthe attendants offered flowers to the Spiritual sense of the ancestral tablet.

During the anniversary, there were two performances of\r\nsinger Linh Canh and Bao Tran in two songs "words of showing\r\ngratitude", "Gratitude of giving birth". Moreover, VCDs\r\n“Remembering The Teacher’s gratitude” and – “Like an elephant in the battle”\r\nwere given
