Pratimoksa Commandment Declaring Rite at Hoang Phap pagoda

In the morning of Nov. 25th, 2021 (Nov 2nd, LC), all monks located in Hoc Mon district in their dignified robes solemnly held a ritual to declare Pratimoksa commandments.

This periodic activity is to remind each other about the rules of practitioners to nurture good deeds and practice precepts. The purpose of commandments is to keep on Sangha's life in the spirit of harmony and purity.

According to the decision of Buddhism religious leaders in Hoc Mon district, the whole Sangha residing in the district will perform the Pratimoksa commandment Rite together every fortnight and are rotated in the temples in the district. This morning, the Monks of Hoc Mon district went to Hoang Phap pagoda to perform the ritual in accordance with the Buddha's teachings in a dignified and pure atmosphere.

On behalf of the Sangha, Vice the Director Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hoc Mon district, Senior Thich Chon Tri offered incense to the Buddha and performed Buddhist traditional rites. Next, Head the Director Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hoc Mon district, Senior Thich Minh Thanh declared the laws of Buddhism.
