Opening the Summer retreat at Hoa Phuc Pagoda

On July 06th, 2019 (lunar June 04th, the Pig Year), nearly 500 student cultivators gathered to Hoa Phuc Pagoda (Hoa Truc village - Hoa Thach commune - Quoc Oai district - Hanoi city) to attend the 4th summer retreat: "Comeback to peaceful place” (from 06 to 11 July 2019).

Beginning the 1st day of the retreat, all  participants attended the Opening Ceremony of the Summer Retreat with the witness of virtuous Monks. The most impressive in the opening Ceremony is a short play with theme Is Beer and Wine Good composed by Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hoa – the Abot of Hoa Phuc Pagoda, the Head of the Organization Board and the Buddhist Youth performed, accompanying with music performances come from Tay Phuong Pagoda, Thay Pagoda, Dau Pagoda, Đau Pagoda, Mot Cot pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Keo Pagoda.

  According to the program, young people will listen to the useful dharma talks as following:

- Senior Ven. Thich Giac Nguyen – Abbot of Hue Quang pagoda.

- Junior Ven. Thich Tam Trong – Deputy Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda.

- Nun Ven. Thich Nu Tam Tri – Abbot of Dai An Pagoda.

- Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hoa – Abbot of Hoa Phuc pagoda.

- Monks who will instruct and care for young people during the practice period.

 In addition, the youth will also be able to interact with the Editor – MC Tran Hanh Phuc and Elite Artist Trung Anh, participate in a special program of the Citizen Ceremony (Maturity Ceremony) with the theme Towards the Ancestor – Refuge on Three Jewel. Moreover, young people also participated in extracurricular activities, team games help to increase solidarity, train body and mind, cultivate compassion.
