The Nikāya is the sutra of Theravada tradition, which have been and are being studied by monks. These are the sutras containing the Buddha's teachings during the 45 years of dhamma gathered.

Attending the opening, there was Senior Thich Chan Tinh, the abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda together with monks and practitioners. By the way, the Ven also shared a few words with the Buddhists. First of all, he praised the monks' dhamma spirit in the  ideal "first, to seek enlightenment; next, to save all beings". Clearly seeing the benefit after staying his own retreat to read the Nikāya sutra, the master planned to assist monks and nuns to diligently read the entire sutra to help the cultivators firmly on their path of enlightenment. He encouraged Buddhists to study the scriptures without making any distinction in the dharma.

He also talks about the purpose of learning to help promote wisdom. When having the right understanding we will be correct in our actions, words, thoughts and avoid falling into superstition; this learning also limits us to increase ego, boast or create bad karma. Next, he mentions the aspect of support to beings that depends on the subjects, situations to help them understand teachings and gain benefits.

Classes will take place every Wednesday and Friday (18:30 - 20:30) starting from March 31, 2021. This class will have two parts: the first part will study the Digha Nikaya and Majjhima Nikaya with other sutras; the next part is the practice meditating on the four objects (the Buddha's grace, loving - kindness, death, and breath). At the same time, the monk will also organize outside activities so that Buddhists can clearly see the impermanence, no-self, and suffering of all things.
