One-Day Retreat for Teenagers at Giai Lam pagoda, Ha Tinh

On. Dec. 04th, 2022 (Nov. 11th, LC) Giai Lam pagoda in Ha Tinh province (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s custom) held a Teenager Retreat for 10 - 16 years old with the topic Youth towards Buddhism

After registering for all participants in the morning, monks guided them to the lecture hall to participate in the activities: how to address at the temple, the method of bowing, greeting, etc. Next, the monk had a few words of encouragement because of the spirit of the youth's desire to practice and study. With a humorous, witty but profound narration, he shared with the young "gratitude" and "knowing when making mistakes" so that they can realize the lesson for themself.

 After replenishing energy with a vegetarian meal, young attendees rest and relax. 

Continuing the practice, there were ethics stories told by the monks; then the mass read the poem named Gratitude, composed by Most Thich Chan Tinh, Master of Hoang Phap Pagoda.

 After studying, students participate in group games to increase solidarity and exchange learning. 

The day ended with the joy of the young people.
