Ngo Chan Tu Education Talent Monk Fund

Office of Provincial Director Board (PDB) - Dao Nguyen Pagoda, Tam Ky City - Buddhist Intermediate School (BIS) in Quang Nam held a graduation ceremony to award degrees to the 8th monk-nun Course, the 1st Buddhist Intermediate Class for lay people, and the opening of the 1st year of course 2023-2026 for Buddhist Classes on Sep. 16th, 2023.

The ceremony was witnessed, attended by Most Thich Thien Thanh, Standing members of Proving Council, Prover of the PDB, Most Thich Thanh Quyet, Vice Chairman of Executive Council, Head of Central Buddhist Education Board; Most Thich Phuoc Minh, Member of Executive Council, Head of PDB and monks of II Central Office, Central Buddhist Education Board, PBD, School Managing Board (SMB), monk-nun students, and lay learners.

At Pho Da Pagoda (Da Nang City), BIS‘s SMB in Da Nang held the closing ceremony of school year 2022-2023, and the opening ceremony 2023-2024 on the morning of Sep. 17th, 2023.

The ceremony was witnessed and attended by leading monks of DB of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Da Nang City: Most Thich Tu Nghiem, Head of the Standing Committee; Senior Thich Thong Dao, Standing Deputy; Most Thich Hue Vinh, Deputy of DB, and Head of the Sangha Department; Standing monks of the DB, BIS's SMB in Da Nang, Lecturers, monk-nun Master.

On this occasion, Junior Thich Tam Man - Abbot of Tan Tay - Thien Phap Pagoda in Quang Nam (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda's Sect) represented Hoang Phap monks to offer money and Dharma-book gifts from the 4th Ngo Chan Tu Education Talent Monk Fund to Quang Nam BIS and Da Nang BIS. This is a noble relationship that for many years the Hoang Phap pagoda has supported schools in the spirit of Buddhist education.
