Medicine Sutra completing Ceremony and Charity on the full moon day at Dong Cao Pagoda, Thanh Hoa

On Feb. 24th, 2024 (Jan. 15th, LC), Dong Cao Pagoda in Thanh Hoa province (belonging to the Hoang Phap’s custom) continued to organize One-Day Practice for Buddhists everywhere to attend and have charity activities.

After chanting Ksitigarbha sutra led by Junior Thich Tam Hung, the mass released creatures to show love to all beings, give fruits to Buddhists coming to the temple to connect and make stable relationships to Three Jewels. Next, the mass chanted the Eightfold Path of sutra.

The mass chanted the Lotus Sutra together in the afternoon.

At night the same day, Buddhists gathered at Ngo Chan Tu lecture hall to attend the ritual "Completed Sutras - Offering candles to the Medicine Buddha" to pray for prosperity in the country, happiness and peace of living beings.
