Kind people live in consciousness.
Update: 13/05/2023
One person tried to harm a kind person, and that one person thought he’d won. But the kind person didn’t get angry or hurtful. It is because, to a kind person, being peaceful is more important.
A kind person is someone who knows how to create his own blessings and virtues.
A person who doesn’t dare to ignore an old woman, who is getting troubles crossing the road, is a kind person.
A person who doesn’t hate people who have done wrong things, and if he has a chance, he will help them to fix their mistakes, that is a kind person.
A person who doesn’t want to harm anyone, who doesn’t mean to hurt anyone, is a kind person.
A person who isn’t fooled by envy, to step on someone to be successful, instead of that he will help people to move forward, that is a kind person.
A person who won’t lose himself because of flashy profits, who won’t lose his destiny of being conscious, that is a kind person.
There are some gentle Dharma verses, taught by Buddha to kind people, in order for them not to be afraid of anything. We should remember by heart, to maintain a pure and kind mind.
Dharmapada
Poin 76. If we meet a kind person who shows us our mistakes and imperfections, we should make friends with him, think about him at an intellectual level, who showed us treasury. We should make friends with kind people, not cruel ones.)
Point 77. People who are good at dissuading people and giving advice, they are hated by cruel people but loved by kind people. (Translated by Thich Thien Sieu.)
Forty Chapters Dharma
Chapter 8: Cruel people who hurt kind people, which looks like we look up to the sky and spit, our saliva cannot reach to the sky but will fall upon ourselves. It is like we throw the dust headwind, which cannot make anyone dirty but ourselves. It is the same situation that no one can hurt kind people. If someone tries to do that, retribution will destroy him. (Translated by Thich Phuoc Tinh.)
Think about Dharma teaching us how to be unscathed, try to keep ourselves from the dramas of the world.
