Hoang Phap pagoda monks attending the Pratimoksa precept chanting Rite

On July 13th, 2022, the monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda went to Phat Buu Pagoda which is the residence and study place of monks in Hoc Mon District to recite precepts with Phuoc Thien pagodas and Ngoc Diem vihara.
At the gathering of four rain-retreat Schools, Most Thich Tinh Hanh, member of the demonstrating council of the Director Board (DB) of Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha (VBS) of HCMC; Most Thich Thien Tanh, Vice-Chairman of the directing council, Advisor of VBS, visited, encouraged and reminded monks and nuns about the monastic way of life.
Next, it is the flower giving to congratulate Most Thich Thien Minh - Demonstrating DB of VBS, has been awarded the Medal of Great National Unity. At the same time, they also gave congratulatory flowers and gave approval decisions to three members of HCMC Buddhist Sangha, Senior Thich Minh Thanh, Senior Thich Le Tam and Junior Thich Thuan Tai.
On this occasion, Ms. Truong My Hanh, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Hoc Mon district, gave a speech about the economic situation after the epidemic and thanked for the goodwill contributions of Buddhist Sangha and monks and nuns in the past. Mr. Nguyen Phuc Thien, Head of Hoc Mon District Police Department stated about the orderly situation in Hoc Mon district.
Accordingly, Senior Thich Le Tam, Deputy Head of Standing Board of VBS in Hoc Mon district, thanked the district leaders for creating favorable conditions for the monks and nuns in terms of legal status to make them feel secure about study at present and the future.
Finally, Senior Thich Minh Thanh, Head of the Administration Board of Hoc Mon District Buddhist Sangha shared the implementation of new legal regulations on Sangha administration, about ordination and related documents to monasteries. At the same time, the Senior called for a hand in hand, building solidarity of monks, nuns, and monasteries with the Director Board so that Buddhism in Hoc Mon district could develop more and more.
