HELLO SADNESS!

HELLO SADNESS!

That was the sound of his heart after all that time of being with the Buddha. Now he sees the real Buddha. He feels the Buddha through every word and deed. At that time, he did not know what fate would lead him to, but at an early age he liked to eat vegetarian food, go to pagodas, bow to Buddha... But he just felt happy and did not know anything. What a strange thing! In the early stages of his search for the truth, he was also very vague because he was not old enough and had no guide. He was not as favorable as now because there were not many scriptures and tapes and even smartphones, which were extremely convenient, but he continued walking on the bright path towards Buddhism. Now, he is more confident in himself that "this truth is real and those who truly practice will be happy." Is that right? That is right because he is a living witness. When he was a child, he always blamed heaven and earth for not loving him or some people so that good people would be bullied, suffered and tortured by evil people. Now he smiles when remembering that this is exactly the common mentality of people who do not understand religion. Because no one gives or harms anyone, each person creates their own causes and receives their own results. Because Buddha taught:

"The mind is the leader of all dharmas,

 The mind is the master, the creator;

 If with the bad intention,

 Speak up or act,

 Misery follows behind,

 Like a cart, legs of draft animals.”

 “The mind is the leader of all dharmas,

 The mind is the master, the creator;

 If with a pure mind,

 Speak up or act,

 Peaceful steps follow,

 Like a shadow, never leaving the object.”

 (Dhammapada, verses 1,2)

Then what? It is true that the Saha world has less joy and more suffering. It is because everything you gain is painful and everything you lose is also painful. If you can get it, you must keep it, but if you cannot keep it, you will suffer. Hating and not being able to avoid it is also suffering. Oh, no!

He and everyone else love themselves the most, seeing that they are always the best. Letting anyone accidentally bump into you with words, eyes or actions will "ruffle your feathers”, no matter what other people are like, as long as you are happy and fulfilled, that is all. But real happiness is not like that! It is a very special feeling, especially when "my big ego is absent". It is the smile of an old man when you have nothing more than a thousand to give him, he smiles gently and says,”Holding my hands is good”. It is a hug from a stranger seeing you cry; a word of encouragement when you are lost; a cake, a potato from your friends. How beautiful it is! Or when you feel like giving up, there is a warm hug to encourage you!  Come on!

Buddha! He is truly a teacher who cures the suffering of sentient beings. Even a person like him who was always self-deprecating and full of troubles, but when practicing Buddha’s truth, he changed significantly, he learned to laugh and be happy, and most of all, he dared to wave goodbye to past troubles. He has accepted that there is trash in the flowers, Buddha!

Best regards,
