Handing over tortoises and pigeons at Dau Tieng Wildlife Conservation Station, Binh Duong

On Feb. 19th, 2023, Junior Thich Tam Hue, monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda went to Dau Tieng Wildlife Conservation Station, Binh Duong to hand over Elongated tortoises, Giant Asian pond turtle, and Yellow-headed temple turtle which belongs to group 2 of animals that need to preserve in nature.

Accidentally, a Buddhist bought Elongated tortoises, Giant Asian pond turtle, and Yellow-headed temple turtle and 5 pigeons gave them to the Charity Board of Hoang Phap Pagoda. The delegation took all of them to Dau  Tieng Wildlife Conservation Center, Binh Duong to ask veterinarians to take care of them to recover before releasing them into Cat Tien National Forest.

Monks and Buddhists took refuge and recited Buddha's name for all species before handing them over to the center. After that, the group visited some animal rescue cages.
