Greeting mid-autumn festival in Binh Thuan.

Responding to the invitation of the local Government, the Headmaster of the Elementary Schools, Nursery schools such as Lam Thien, Hong Liem 3, Tam Hung - the People’s Committee of Ham Liem commune and People’s Committee of Ma Lam village town, North Ham Thuan district, Binh Thuan province. At 2 P.M in the afternoon of September 6th, 2014 (lunar August 13 rd, Horse Year), the Hoang Phap pagoda’s monks, nuns, good men, believing women, and Buddhists in HCMC arrived to offer the presents to pupils of Lam Thien school, Hong Liem school 3 including of over 1130 portions such as lanterns, moon cakes, cookies, candies, school bags, notebooks, ball-pens, comic books on “cause and effects law” - the average value of each is over 60.000 VND.

At 7 a.m of the next dawn,  being instructed by\r\nJunior Ven. Thich Tam Thuan, the group was divided into three small groups. The\r\nfirst came to Tam Hung Elementary School with over 320 portions of gifts; the\r\nsecond to Ham Liem commune Peoples committee with over 360 portions; the third\r\nto the Peoples Committee of Ma Lam village town with only 75 pupils. How\r\npitiful they were but we could not express our feeling. All of them were in\r\ninnate disability. Apart from their presents, they received an extra envelope\r\nof 50.000 VND for each. Although this amount of money is just little, it stored\r\nall sincere hearts of mercy, compassion, joy, detachment of\r\nthe Buddhism, as the proverbs “intact leaves covering broken\r\nones”, â€œgourds must love pumpkins”, which means that we should together\r\nestablish the love for human relationship. In anywhere to stay, in any\r\ncondition to suffer, we have to care about the love of humanbeings, which is\r\nproudly from many former generations.

Although they were little gifts on occasion of Mid – Autumn\r\nfestival impossible to compare with their miserable, difficult situations, they\r\nwere from deeply hearts of the charitable members and benefactors everywhere,\r\nwho supported the festival, helped a coming new school year. In spontaneous and\r\nbright ages, their smiling mouths as fresh flowers, embracing the\r\npresents, they one another showed them excitingly in how holiness was in their\r\nlook and laughter!

The trip returned in HCMC at 7 PM, finishing its perfect\r\nmission in fully religious meaning. (The total of 1800 portions valued of\r\n108.000.000 VND).
