Giving gifts on middle autumn festival in Binh Thuan.

Looking at joyful and glad faces on the time of receiving the gifts of middle autumn festival, we were very move. I imagine myself like the kids, who were in joking, naughtiness, etc., being happiness because of receiving meaningful gifts.

On September 10th, 2016 (lunar August 10th, Monkey Year), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Vien, abbot of Hong Phap temple in company with Junior Ven. Thich Quang Cao, Chairman of Committee for religious affair in Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province combined with the group of Buddhists in HCMC and Phan Thiet arrived to offer over 800 portions of presents, the value of each is over 50.000 VND. On the festival day of welcoming lanterns 2016,at the Hong Liem, Elementary School 2 received 600 portions of gifts, the children of Ham Thang commune received 200 portions of gifts, all of these places belongs to Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province.

The middle Autumn Festival this year presented over 600 pupils from the kindergarten to the fifth grade.

The group gave them meaningful presents although they only were Moon Cakes, various lanterns with the animal shapes, candies, milk, etc, they also covered all the heart of the monks, Buddhists in HCM and Phan Thiet city, who gave these children, helped them welcome a Middle Autumn Festival completely with their teachers, learners, relatives.

The trip ended but our minds had many kinds of feelings. Hoping that next seasons and following years, donators are not only would be present at this place, at Hong Liem Elementary School 2 of

Ham Thuan Bac District, Binh Thuan Province, but also do the same at other schools in the province. Giving gilfs to children is our motivation to spread compassion, helps enhance the intellectual powers, feed on seeds, fresh and shoot lotus flowers for the future.
