Free Medical Test and Animal Release in Can Tho

On the morning of September 27th, 2014 (Sep. 4th Horse Year), from the instruction of Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh - the Abbot of Hoang phap pagoda, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue together with the Buddhists had an affair of medical testing charity and animal release to Can Tho city.

In this charity trip, the group accompanied by 40\r\ndoctors (Ho Chi Minh and Can Tho city) specialized of incretology, eyes,\r\nultrasound, electrocardiology came to Cai Khe 1 Elementary School, 122 Tran Phu\r\nstreet, Cai Khe ward, Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho province to examine, diagnose\r\nmedicine and offer presents to the 600 members of elder society, the poor and\r\nthe needy at Cai Khe ward in the areas of 1,2,3,4,5,67 and area 3 of Hau River.

The group treated and gave 600 portions of medicine, 128 far\r\n– sighted and old people‘s glasses (76,300 VND/a portion of medicine), 600\r\ngifts were given to old people, the poor, the needy. Each of sections costs\r\n110.300 VND including of rice, noodle soup, sauce, and pot.

In the afternoon of same day, they released animals on the\r\nHau River, Binh Thuy district. There is 2,1 tons of anabas (63,000,000 million\r\nVND) released to the nature. This time, Junior Thich Phap Dang and monks of Hue\r\nVien pagoda also attended on way of their affair trip in Dong Nai province.\r\nJunior Thich Tam Hue gave 470 DVDs of “Turning back for the Bank”, “Taking of\r\nTriratna Refuge”

The total value in this charity trip was\r\n112,020,000 dong (45,840,000 VND medical money and 66,180,000 VND present\r\nmoney). The entire fund was collected from the contribution of Buddhists Quynh\r\nHuong, Ngoc Boi, Miss Hoa, Miss Sau together with Buddhists in Can Tho and Ho\r\nChi Minh city as well. Buddhists Mong Ha and Ngoc Thong supported\r\ntransportation facilities.
