Dharma talk Let’s keep the faith preaching by Junior Thích Tam Dao in the 103rd Seven-day Retreat
With a firm belief in the Triple Gem after nearly 20 years of studying and serving at Hoang Phap Pagoda, the monk has overcome and completed the Buddhist activities well. He reviewed the past memories so that all listeners can clearly see: when having a firm belief, we will receive support, and motivation to practice. Thanks to this, practitioners will gain success in life and achievements in cultivating.
He reminded us that when having a firm belief, we will not be shaken by obstacles. Believe in the Buddha - The true enlightened one, He has transmitted the wonderful Dharma for sentient beings to practice towards enlightenment and deliverance; Believe in the Dharma - the truth; Believe deeply in cause and effect.
On social networks today, there is a lot of information that greatly affects the faith of Buddhists. He hopes that the mass will have a profound view. In a society with millions of people, there are those who are perfect, or those who are not. We should not look at a few individuals who have made mistakes and equate the whole community is at fault. To better understand the meaning of the monk and the Sangha, he analyzed it very thoroughly. Thanks to this, the listeners will avoid misunderstandings, not speak slanderous words, and maintain faith in the Sangha.
The monk told the mass the faith is very important, each practitioner needs to be steadfast. When practicing and making changes, we will certainly progress, becoming more beautiful in both appearance and mind. For Pure Land practitioners: faith, vows, and practice are important conditions. When deeply believing in the Dharma, the Buddha's teachings, and the power of vows, and diligently practice, we will gain good results.
No matter how many challenges life has, Buddhists should believe deeply in cause and effect. Whoever does wrong, they must bear the consequences. Buddhism brings peace and happiness; we just follow and practice. Whatever Dharma brings us change, wherever there is peace and comfort, we will return to take refuge. There is no Dharma that is more supreme or the most supreme. The important thing is that Dharma is suitable for each person's capacity, that Dharma is supreme.
