Dharma Giving at Lien Hoa Temple, Minnesota State, America

Accepted the invitation of Ven. Thich Duc Thanh, the Abbot of Lien Hoa Temple located in Minnesota state, Ven. Thich Chan Tinh visited and gave a talk to all the Buddhists here.

This is a new temple, opened a few months ago. It can hold about a hundred people and some private rooms for the monks. He admires the embarkment of the abbot and congratulates all people having a place to learn Buddhism. Then he had a dharma talk to them. He emphasized how hard to be born as a human being, so people should take this chance to learn the Buddha’s teaching and practice for happiness in this life and next life. He shared how happy and lucky to meet Buddhism from a young age. Then he counsels people to take the Noble Eightfold Path as the guide in practice. Following this eightfold path wholeheartedly, one surely reaches the final goal of liberation.

Finished the talk he encourages and admonishes people to support and protect the triple gems (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha) and put the most effort to practice as well. Every participant received two books written by him: “Think of dog in the Dog Year”, and “Brief Introduction to Hoang Phap Temple”.
