Dharma assembly Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara at Linh An Pagoda

On Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara ordination anniversary, Linh An Temple (Taiwan) held a Dharma assembly Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara and One - Day Retreat to Vietnamese Buddhists living, working and studying in Taiwan

The Retreat is attended by Vietnamese monks and nuns who are currently studying in Taiwan, more special was the visit of monks from the Hoang Phap pagoda sect, such as Junior Thich Tam Hoa - Abbot of Hoa Phuc pagoda in Hanoi; Junior Thich Tam Luan - Abbot of Bao Quang pagoda in Dong Nai; Junior Thich Tam Hung - Abbot of Dong Cao pagoda in Thanh Hoa; Junior Thich Tam Luat - Abbot of Dai Son pagoda in Phu Tho who returned to attend.

 

In response to the invitation of Linh An Pagoda, Junior Thich Tam Hoa happily came to the lecture hall to preach a Dharma talk for Buddhists far from home to be listened to the teachings. After the preaching, the monks went to the main hall to chant sutras, make offerings to the Buddha at noon, and receive lunch.

 

The ashram held a rite to commemorate the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara ordination, recited the Lotus Sutra, Universal Gate chapter, and performed an offering ritual of food to alone spirits.

 

In order to give sharing love by small gifts and pray for a peaceful world, the mass came to Taipei train station (台北車站) to donate alms giving to the homeless, sleeping overnight in the evening.
