Delivering Sermon at Dai Thanh Pagoda, Bac Ninh Province.

Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh visited Most Venerable Thich Thanh Sam, Deputy Dharma-lord of Vietnam Buddhism congregation at Dai Thanh Pagoda，Bac Ninh City on the evening 11st June, 2016 (7th May, Monkey Year).

On the occasion of the Buddha’s affair in the North, Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh visited and bowed Most Venerable Thich Thanh Sam, Deputy Dharma-lord of Vietnam Buddhism congregation, living at Dai Thanh Pagoda - Bac Ninh City, the headquarters of Affair Department of Vietnam Budhism congregation, Bac Ninh province. By the way, he also visited Thich Thanh Phung, President of Vietnam Buddhism congregation in Bac Ninh province.

 

After bowing the Most Venerable and asking after Senior Venerable Thich Thanh Phung, Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh delivered a sermon to all Buddhists at Dai Thanh Pagoda. As far as knowing, Most Reverend Thich Chieu Tuc obediently followed Senior Venerable Thich Thanh Phung’s instruction. On the occasion, Senior Venerable Thich Thanh Phung announced to Buddhists and assigned Most Reverend Thich Chieu Tuc to organize and instruct Buddhists in practicing at this pagoda.

  

 Venerable Thich Chan Tinh also encouraged Buddhists to painstakingly go to the temple and practice and learn Buddhism. Lay people should rely upon Triple Jewels. Buddha entered into nirvana so far, but His teachings are still in the scriptures. Samgha (monks) are the ones who are on behalf of widely proclaiming the truth of Buddhism for benefit of living beings. Therefore, Buddhist ought to respect monks, diligently go to pagoda and practice Buddha’s teachings. Most Reverend Thich Chieu Tuc from the South is pleased to go to the North to instruct Buddhists in practicing. Buddhists should appreciate his devotion and visit temple, and industriously practice for benefit and peace of themselves, family and society.
