The Great Ullambana Ceremony at Phuc Hai Pagoda in Ha Tinh

On the evening of August 8th, 2022, Phuc Hai Pagoda (Ha Tinh province) leading by Junior Thich Tam Quyen held the great Ullambana ceremony.

The ceremony was witnessed by Junior Thich Tanh Dai, Head of Nghi Xuan district’s Buddhist Sangha, together with the monks of Hoang Phap pagoda, the pagodas' abbot in Nghi Xuan district.

On behalf of the mass at the ceremony, Buddhist Hong Hanh read "The meaning of pinning roses" full of emotions about mother's love.

After representatives of Buddhists offered six items to the monks present, Junior Thich Tanh Dai gave a speech about the meaning of Ullambana festival and the responsibility of a filial person towards its parents.

Although the weather was not favorable, with the parents’ grateful spirit on Ullambana's season, the ceremony ended in the joy of the mass.
