Charity program in the week of Ullambana ceremony 2022 of Dong Cao Pagoda

After the chanting, worshiping, repenting, sowing blessings, as well as giving gifts to the Vietnamese Hero mother living in NgaSon district at the Ullambana Festival 2022, at 8:00 am, 12/08/2022, Junior Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda, instructed Buddhists to solemnly recite Ksitigarbha Sutra to create merit for ancestors, parents and make the ritual of releasing creatures on Hung Long river, as well as spread love to all species.
After that, the mass continued to return to the temple to recite Noble Eightfold Path Sutra and depart for Nga Son General Hospital to donate more 350 portions of vegetarian meals to the patients being treated here to sow good conditions, guided by Buddhist Tinh Hung.
In the afternoon, the ceremony to transmit the Three Refuge - Five Precepts for more 100 good men and women to take refuge in Three Jewels, officially became a disciple of Buddha.
After the Abbot offereded incense to the Buddha, the representative Buddhists offered a speech to invite venerables to transmit precepts. The Venerable accepted and guided the mass to receive Three refuges - Five precepts in mindfulness, and some necessary rules of Buddhists. On this occasion, the Venerable gave gifts of Dharma to new Buddhists taking refuge, including the book Three Refuges - Five Precepts.
At 16:30, the Abbot organized a rite to donate food for alone souls in the Ullambana Ceremony 2022. This year's Festival takes place in the warmth of monks and disciples, a human and noble beauty.
