Charity and Creature Release Ending Goat Year.

On Feb, 4th 2016 (Dec. 26th Goat Year), the Monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda came to provinces of Southern Vietnam for creature release. In addition, they examined medically and gave some presents to the poor.

At food stalls of Sa Dec market in Dong Phap province, they and the Buddhists of Giac Ton Pagoda bought fishes, snail, etc. Then, hired long boat to go off the river and released them to the nature.

 

In the evening, in Five zone, Cai Khe ward, Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho city, they and the testing organization of An Nghiep ward consisting of doctors and nurses named Nhan Dao and doctors of TPHCM examined and treated medically, gave drugs and 300 presents to the poor, the needy families who live at 8 zones in Cai Khe ward.

 

After medical examination, each people received drugs and a gift worth of 220.000 VND includes rice, cooking oil, soy sauce, bag, calendar and so on.

 

The total of the charity money was 66 million VND. In particular, The Nhan Dao organization supports 24 million VND for drugs, the remaining money were donated by the Buddhists named Lien Tung, Lien Oanh, Lien Kieu, Loc Van, Dieu Phuoc, Binh Duong, Duc Duong and the Buddhists everywhere. Miss. Dieu Hien gave calendars, Mr.Chin, Mr.Yen, Mr.Vinh gave bags and Mr.Tinh Trang supported vehicles for transporting presents.
