Buddha’s affairs at Quang Tri

Most Ven. Thich Thien Tan, Head of Board of directors\r\nof The Buddhist Sangha of Vietnam at Quang Tri Province, came to the\r\npagoda to prove and had some pieces of Dharma advice to the one-day cultivation.

Then, Ven. Thich Chan Tinh complemented the cultivation\r\nspirit of Buddhists at the pagoda. From which, he advised Buddhists to keep Five\r\nPrecepts, believe in cause-effect principle, well perform responsibilities of\r\nan at-home Buddhist to Three Treasures as well as to themselves, family\r\nand society.

Before ending the talk, Senior Ven. Thich Hai Tang – Head of Board\r\nof Religious Affair of The Buddhist Sangha of Vietnam at Quang Tri\r\nprovince has some words of gratitude and thank to the Ven. Thich Chan Tinh and\r\nthe monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda. He also encouraged Buddhists to frequently come\r\nto pagodas to cultivate to build the Bodhimandala to be more developed.

In the afternoon, the group returned to Ha Loc Pagoda in Gio\r\nLinh District, Quang Tri Province in response to the request of Buddhists here.\r\nThe Ven. had a talk about the importance of taking Triratna refuge.\r\nBesides cultivation, he also encouraged the Buddhists to cultivate the field of\r\nblessing, widen our mercifulness to everybody, and bring affection to spread\r\neverywhere so that all places will become The Pure Land.

Before leaving the pagoda, the Ven. introduced that Junior\r\nVen. Thich Tam Man to have some recommendations to Buddhists. It is known that\r\nin his journey of "one step,one kowtow",the Junior\r\nThich Tam Man also had many conditional causes to pagodas at Gio Linh\r\nDistrict in particular, and to Quang Tri Province in general. Each Buddhist was\r\ngiven a present including DVDs “Ullambana”, “Firmly Advance”,and “Blowing Winds\r\nShake Bamboos”.
