Buddha Settlement Ritual At Dong Cao Pagoda - Thanh Hoa Province

In greeting atmosphere of the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattvas’ Birthday – Oct. 12th, 2014 (lunar sep. 19th, Horse Year) the mandala of Dong Cao pagoda at Yen Khoai village, Nga Yen commune, Nga Son district, Thanh Hoa province officially celebrated the Ceremony of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattvas and Sakyamuni Buddha statue settlement.

Besides the Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hung, the Dong\r\nCao pagoda’s Abbot and the Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hieu, the Can Mon\r\npagoda’s Abbot were the ones who witnessed and performed the ritual, there was\r\nattendance of numerous Buddhist from all parts of the area. It is known that all\r\nthe Buddhists of Mandala of the Dong Cao pagoda donated for the Avalokitesvara\r\nBodhisattvas stone sculpture, as well as the Sakyamuni Buddha’s wooden statue\r\non the Nirvana  in place of the old,  damaged ones. At the\r\nend of the ceremony, Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hieu preached  a\r\ndharma talk and encouraged Buddhists to cultivate the dharma door of Buddha\r\nrecitation.  Finally, he wished Buddhists  practiced\r\ndiligently and gained a lot of happiness in their practice.

Also, at the end of ceremony, the pagoda presented all\r\nBuddhists the VCDs of " How to control your mind" (Khéo biết tâm mình) lectured\r\nby the Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh , and the DVDs of the 5th Sunflower\r\n“The sacred Sound”
